Huashida 3-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) Pipe Coating Line is designed to provide high-performance anti-corrosion protection for steel pipes used in oil, gas, water supply, district heating, and other pipeline transmission systems.

This internationally recognized coating system combines epoxy powder, adhesive, and polyethylene into one integrated protective layer, delivering excellent corrosion resistance, strong mechanical protection, and long-term durability for buried and underground pipelines.

What is 3LPE Coating?

A 3LPE anti-corrosion steel pipe is composed of three bonded protective layers, each playing a critical role in pipeline protection:

1. First Layer – Epoxy Powder (FBE Primer)

Applied directly to the steel surface, this layer ensures:

      Excellent adhesion

      Strong initial corrosion resistance

      Reliable bonding foundation

2. Second Layer – Adhesive

A specially formulated copolymer adhesive layer that:

     Bonds the epoxy powder to the PE outer layer

     Improves interlayer strength

     Enhances coating stability

3. Third Layer – Polyethylene (PE Outer Layer)

The outer polyethylene coating provides:

     Mechanical protection

     Moisture resistance

     Impact and abrasion resistance

     Long-term environmental protection
